This video will show you how to convert a print journal to a digital planner in PowerPoint. It uses the PowerPoint Replicator tool. Unfortunately it does not work on a Mac.
I am the process of trying to find someone to automate this process, but in the meantime this is a work around. It takes a short while to setup the Excel file but still much faster than trying to do it manually.
I have attached a download for you that includes a sample Excel sheet with the formulas used already inserted. I have also included a PowerPoint master file with the template created for PowerPoint Replicator.
Please note: Do all your editing in the original print planner as the finished item is imported into the digital planner as an image, so it cannot be edited as a normal PowerPoint page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the Facebook group.
I am in total awe of your ability to think these ideas up and find a way to do it. Thanks for everything you’ve come up with from planners, ideas, and software.
I understand that you can’t edit the jpg’s but how do you write onto the planner. For example, I have a planner that I want to be digital and once it’s done I want to use it on my tablet and add text on the lines or in the calendar. Can that be done? Thanks
Hi Toni,
Yes it can. You would use an app like Goodnotes or Xodo. We cover a lot more of that in our Digital Planner Bonanza training course.
Ditto Pat!
How will Leap Year 2024 change the format?
Di, your mind works brilliantly! This is fantastic.
Thanks Gerry 🙂
